On Tuesday, I lost a roommate and the world lost a great rodent.
Marlowe may not have been a famous rat, but he knew the important things in life.
He enjoyed a simple cuddle and pet on the ears.
He always brought smiles to the faces of those around him.
He made friends easily and accepted people just as they are.
He was a handsome little fellow and could charm the ladies.
And he was lucky to have the love and care of one of the best pet owners the world will ever see.
Please keep both of them in your thoughts.
This little guy will be missed.
Although he left us too soon, we can take comfort in the fact that his short life was full of love, happiness and Cheerios.
Marlowe, you will never be forgotten.
(Just in case anyone is wondering, Jazz did not eat him.)

A beautiful tribute...and a great photo! He was a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI was going back in your blog to find pics from when we first moved into the apartment for my "Year End Roundup" post (I, weirdly enough, did not take any pictures myself). I can't believe I haven't seen this one yet! But thank you so much for the tribute to Marlowe here! It means a lot!
